Love to be back in business again! I'm full of energy and lust for work.
This will hopefully be an exciting period work wise and I'm looking forward to the coming months.

Today I'm listening to this awesome track, that is released today.
Love Fame Tragedy is Matthew Murphy from The Wombats. This song received its' premiere airplay at Zane Lowey's Beats1 show on Apple Music earlier tonight. There's also a video for it, directed by Tyler Cunningham.

The track also features Pixies’ Joey Santiago, Alt J’s Gus Unger-Hamilton, Matt Chamberlain of Soundgarden & Lauren Aquilina. Really enjoyable!



Teenager's listening to The Young Veins "Cape Town". I'm a bit upset about the Beatles' ripoff, though. Could they even get away with that?

 

My Bowie, now Teenager's Bowie

I still find it hard to accept that my musical hero, David Bowie, is dead. I still get tears in my eyes when listening to some of his music. Music that brings so many memories from my teenage years with all things attached to that era.

I dearly love his older albums, still holding "Hunky Dory" as one of his best, besides the almighty classic Ziggy. It also really pleases me that The Teenager listens - and likes - Hunky Dory and also, just like me, seems to fancy the older material. It could maybe the result from me playing this track a lot, when I was pregnant with her. Or maybe she simply has an ear for what's good music!?
